Uncategorized So my fiancé and I were on vacation with our families and we got in an elevator accident. We were coming down from the fifth floor, and it was smooth. Then when we got to the third, it dropped really fast for about 10 feet and jolted at the bottom of the second and then stopped. After about 15 seconds it went all the way down and opened. I hit my head on the corner of a display thing on the wall, and I was just dizzy for a while. His back and neck hurt immediately. But our bodies are hurting pretty bad now, and I had a mild concussion from hitting my head. The doctor said it was kind of like whiplash but with our entire bodies. I am beyond grateful that it wasn’t worse. And it has been nice seeing how many people love us and care about us through this. Uncategorized Managers can be nice. So I work at a fast food restaurant. We were about to close, and a man walks in. He told my manager that he was homeless, hungry, and traveling. He was hoping we could give him some food. It is against policy to give away our leftovers at the end of the night, but she gave him a large plate of one of our most popular items and a drink cup. It was a busy night, and I know she was frustrated to see him come in at the last minute, but she put that feeling aside to help him. While he was waiting I got to talk to him about his travels and also about restaurant-made special sauces. He was so nice, interesting, and extremely grateful.
