Happy Birthday to this girl! Kirstyn is one of the most genuinely kind hearted girls I have ever met. I’m so grateful to have her as a best friend. Friendship like ours doesn’t come around often, sometimes never. I consider myself lucky to have her in my life. She has my back in every situation and we can communicate with just a look. She knows all of my secrets and is the first person I tell everything to. This birthday is extra special in my opinion because in just a few months we’ll be living on opposite sides of Canada, which right now seems unimaginable. But friendship like this will never be broken up by distance! So cheers to us meeting when we were 16. Cheers to all the amazing memories we’ve made and here’s to the last two months in Southeast Asia. Here’s to all the 3 am phone calls, here’s to all the tears we’ve shared, happy and sad ones. Here’s to all the boys, to all the sleepovers and cuddle sessions. Here’s to the drunken nights we’ll never remember. To me being covered in gas and to you peeing your pants and cheers to that 3 legged dog. Here’s to laughing so hard we can’t breath. To you telling me my zit is small, even if it isn’t! Here’s to you knowing my best angles! Cheers to all the small things we do together like going to the gym and our snapchats. But most importantly cheers to all the big things you’re about to do. I hope you have the best birthday ever @kirstynamos you deserve all the happiness in the world! Happy Birthday! xoxo

:raised_hands::raised_hands::raised_hands: This is something I struggle with constantly. I strive for perfection a lot. I always want to better myself in every area of life; work, fitness, relationships. Now more then ever I needed to see this. To me it’s important to remind myself that I should take a step back once in a while and be grateful for what I have at this very moment. So when I get to where I want to be I can truly appreciate the journey it took to get there.

I love my job because I make people feel beautiful all day. I started doing hair because I liked doing my own hair. In the last two years I’ve realized that it’s so much more then that. A hair appointment brings people together, it’s the one appointment that every single person looks forward to. I love walking into the salon I work at because it’s filled with positivity and people counting on me to change the way they feel about themselves. Words can’t describe the feeling you get when a client is so grateful for making them feel like the most important and beautiful person in the world. I love creating happiness and beauty in world. I think it’s so important to love what you do!!!! Be passionate, positive and try to make a difference to better yourself and others each day.
