This is a drawing I did dedicated to the people suffering in Gaza. I want you to look at it without blinking and breathing until you find a reason why this is happening. Not only there but all around the world. You can’t. There is no explanation why humanity is this cruel. Why are people so heartless and allow this to happen? Why can’t there just be peace in the world? I ask myself these questions almost everyday. When I was drawing this lady, my mind couldn’t help but to think how these people must feel, being beaten, attacked or killed for no reason. I hope that one day this will all stop. I believe we can stop this. We just need more love.

This is my drawing of Grandma Betty who has cancer at the age of 80. I first came across grandma on Instagram and instantly she caught my attention. Despite the disease, she NEVER stops smiling and joking. She says she doesn’t even think about it and lives life day by day happily. The reason why I chose to draw her was because I wanted to dedicate it to her as well as her family to show what an amazing person she is. I wanted to show her happy character and for people to be able to tell what sort of person she is just by looking at my drawing. This is the third portrait I did of Grandma and I’m sure I’ll do more. I just love her attitude. I want you guys to do the same no matter what you are going through. If you are going through a rough time, smile through it. That smile on your face will make it better. I promise you.

For those of you who don’t know, Makayla beat cancer! Drawing this portrait brought me joy knowing that I’m drawing a survivor. Dear Makayla’s mum, you have the greatest, strongest warrior and you should be so proud of her. She never fails to smile, always happy. Such a beautiful girl. I hope when you look at this drawing, you will remind yourself of the love that you have between each other. May God continue to bless her. I tried to include every emotion in this drawing. I wanted it to speak words visually.

My drawing of Ryan Cruz, a little boy from California. For those of you who don’t know, he gained his angel wings last month after being hit by a truck. What a precious life has been taken away. His parents are suffering so much, sometimes it’s unbareable. I cannot imagine how hard it must be for them to cope without their little boy. A beautiful red haired beauty. His hair was really hard to draw and I am sure he was looking down on me laughing at me struggling. Ryan is in a better place now and his parents will see him soon :). I tried to make this drawing as realistic as possible so that his family can feel as if he’s there. Rest in peace precious angel.

Hello guys. I have just received a lovely letter from a lovely girl that suffers from chronic illness. I previously drew a portrait of her to let we know she is still beautiful despite losing hair and becoming bold. Her response to the drawing was a wonderful feeling knowing I have “lifted her spirits” in her words. Receiving this letter all the way from Australia letting me know it made we feel better. She said “I hope when my hair grows back I can look back at it and think that even though I was bald people still took an interest in me, like you”. She asked if we can be sending each other letters. I agreed. I will do anything to made anyone smile!

I decided to draw this baby girl for many reasons. One of them was how beautiful she is! Baby Alyna suffers from brain cancer. I instantly fell in love with her the minute I saw her profile on Instagram. Despite the illness, Alyna’s everyday smiles brighten up many strangers’ lives. She has touched so many hearts all over the world. Sadly, she is loosing her battle with cancer and has just weeks/months to live. I hope that her parents will keep this drawing as a memory of her pure beauty. There isn’t a word I describe how happy I was for her Mother to tell me she shed tears when receiving the drawing. Knowing that I have made them smile means the world to me. God has a plan for this little angel.
