I’ve finally found a hobby that clears my mind. It’s pretty essential, I’m always buzzing and even at the gym I’m always thinking about something on top of the weights I’m about to lift. But rollerblading, that’s where I’ve found my harmony. Life gets pretty complicated after university, and sometimes you just need to step back, take a breathe and clear your mind so you can focus on the next task at hand. I think it’s crucial that everyone has one activity that can do this for your mind.

Just a domestic trip this time but I am about the travel life. I love everything from the plane ride to the walk out the airport of your destination. The journey is always the best part. Yet no matter what you do, where you go or what you see. The most important part of your travels are the people you meet, the experiences you share with these people, and what you learn from your experiences. This is how you expand your conscious mind and the reason the quote goes ” travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer” ( those people haven’t bought Google stocks apparently) Just landed in Toronto for Posi, hopefully we learn something valuable this weekend. One of my biggest learning experiences from pursuing my dream is that you find out who your real friends are. When you choose to leave a relatable box, you better be prepared to deal with the loss of comfort that comes with it. The toughest part is the learning experience of who you thought were your friends or had your back actually aren’t, and don’t have your back. It’s upsetting to say the least. But it’s all good. It opens up your eyes to who the real and genuine people in your life are. It gives you a much greater idea of who you should surround yourself with. You learn to have tough skin, and you learn how to handle criticism even if it isn’t constructive. I am so grateful for the people in my life that support me unconditionally, and those are the ones I’d do anything for. Don’t let the world change your smile, let your smile change the world.
