I have been a striving vegan for 8 months now. Since then I have not eaten meat and been minimizing rapidly my consummation of dairy, eggs and all kinds of animal products. By doing this change in my lifestyle I have saved the lives of 135 animals and spared 1007lbs of CO2 to be released to the atmosphere. I see myself as a just a part of this planet and our surroundings and not from a selfish perspective where what I consider delicious food conquer my ethical views and values in life. I am so grateful to be alive and here today, and have all of these beautiful surroundings around me and the least I can do to express gratitude is to at least take care of what has been given to me in life. For most people Veganism/vegetarianism is not understandable, for me, being a selfish individual that is not understandable for me. I am not saying I want everyone to become vegans or vegetarians, I respect everyone’s choice of how to live their life, I just wish for more people to become aware of what kind of industry they are supporting and how much it affects our surroundings. Just trying minimize animal products one meal a day or one day a week could save millions of animals, the environment and also your overall health. I just want to encourage people to actually think about what’s going on around us and be more aware to make small changes that could make big differences. Being a vegan is one of the best things human being can do to this planet and is the best decision I have made in my life so far :earth_americas:

Interested in film, traveling and helping? Keep on reading. Hi. My name is Sandra. I am 20 years young. I spent almost my entire life in one of the wealthiest countries in the world: Norway. After high school, as most people my age I didn’t really know what I wanted to do with my life. After I read about people who were traveling and bloggers helping people that are not as fortunate as us and all the people and I knew that was what I wanted to do as well. I knew I needed to go to college but I didn’t know what I wanted to do. All I knew is that I wanted to travel and help. In Fall 2013 I moved to Hawaii to study marketing and cinematic production. Cinematic production and creating art through my computer is one of my many passions in life. Even though my major in college was something I liked to do I felt liked school was holding me back from what I am capable of, and I decided to take a break from school to follow my dream. I am here to tell you about my dream, and I am looking for someone to be a part of it. My dream is to make a change in this world. I am going to show people the world through social media what I am doing to change this world. My main focuses will cover the ones that are the most helpless: children, animals and the environment. I am going to show people how little you need and how easy it is to do to make a big change. I want to make people aware of what’s going on and inspire thousands to live a positive life. March 1st 2014 I started my journey. I bought a one way ticket to Sydney, which has brought me to my current location: Indonesia. With me I only have a small backpack with stuff I need to survive for a short amount of time. Unfortunately I did not bring a computer or camera and I need to start on this project as soon as possible. I am looking for someone to come with me film. You need to have an interest in film production/photography, flexible and of course fun to be around with. It is very simple, all we need is a video camera and a computer. This will not be funded financially but you will be able to travel the world and be a part of something unique and fun that is going to make a big change in the world. If you are interested send me an email to malalah.business@gmail.com and I will give you further details.
