My ex boyfriend shaped me. He made me who I am today. I grew into an adult with him. I’ve laughed, cried, and everything in between. I didn’t know what love was until I met him. He showed me what it was like to give someone everything you ever had. I loved him with my whole heart and soul. Nothing could compare to what we had. He showed me what it was to be in love. He also showed me what it was to fall out of love. He showed me that nothing lasts forever. That even the best things in the world end. The happiest days of your life end. Betrayal is real. Heartache is real. And i often wonder if love really dies or was it ever this burning fire I thought it was to begin with? My heart hurts is all I know.
