Uncategorized The other day I went on a hike at Mt Tam and our original plan was to go on a loop trail thinking it’d take about 2 hours. After 3 hours we figured out we were lost. We asked people we ran into for directions to find out they took us in complete opposite directions. Has hours passed, my ankles started to give out, back pains kicked in, rolled both of my ankles multiple times, falling and slipping onto my butt. My friends doing the same, we were dying down. We thought we were going to have stay the night in the woods. We were so lost that there were rangers searching for us on every trail. We started hiking at 11am. We didn’t get found until 5:30 in the evening. After almost 7 hours of hiking UPHILL most of the time, I never felt so weak, useless in my life. I am so thankful we got found and we are all okay. Having our phones dead, ran out of food and water was so scary but I am so thankful. On the bright side, it was beautiful. Uncategorized Had a great time on Friday with these girls! I met both Celia and Brii while travelling through Bali, and was pleasantly surprised to realize they were both from my home town. Travelling is a passion of mine, and it’s so humbling to realize what a small world we live in. I had never met Celia before, only to find out (across the world) that she lives two blocks away from me. Brii and I shared the same high school, but it was our love for travelling that brought us together as friends. So happy to have you girls in my life! Uncategorized Since the World Cup is approaching in Brazil I’ve been seeing more and more people supporting brazil by wearing Brazilian apparel, hanging up flags on their doors or cars! The spirit is every where! Find something that makes you feel bliss. Discover a place where you can find your true self. Explore. And when you find that place immerse yourself there. Continue to make yourself a better person. Travel and immerse yourself in the culture. Nothing is more rewarding and educating than new experiences and discovering new places. Uncategorized So many people don’t listen to the signs that universe is giving everyday. You’re put on this earth for a specific purpose. If there’s passion in your heart it’s often a sign of what you’re called to do. If you don’t love what you’re doing than there is no time to waste doing this! Take the time to ask yourself “If I could be anything in life what would that be?” Now, what’s stoping you? Posted on June 8, 2014 by Jessica Continue reading →
