Last night we got together and had a BBQ, but not just any BBQ, we purposely made extra burgers and hot dogs. we also had chips, cookies, veggies, ect. there were 3 cars of us that split up into the community! We sat down with the homeless and talked to them about their stories, we fed a couple elderly, that were not well off. A man, that could barely eat anything due to lack of teeth & proper dental care, paid for a ladies gas before she got a chance, gave money to a pizza delivery guy just for the sake of blessing people! it was truly one of the greatest experiences of my life!!!! the look on people’s faces, the joy it brings to their heart and yours. it’s truly a gift to me to have been a part of that. if we all come together and love on another, we can understand that we are all people, and if we love on another, the little things can make the biggest difference! besides, it’s the best feeling in the world to help brightens someone’s day, that you know really needed it! GOD BLESS

Why is everyone so focused on growing up? Staying young at heart can make your life so much more enjoyable. Stay in the moment, focus on the positive and live every day with the thought you will only be able to live in this day once. Spread that positivity and bring people up with you. Equipped with a young mindset and a positive outlook, nothing will be able to catch you. Your life is an empty canvas. Make it unique.

This weekend I’ve spent my time sitting by the river, watching the stars go by until sunrise and sharing life stories with a very kind heart. I haven’t done this type of thing in years and it was extremely refreshing and soothing being away from noisy spaces and electronics, being listened to and vice versa, honoured to have my friend share stories with me that I imagine were difficult to share and I feel special I got to hear them and learn about his life. Spend quality time with your beloved or a new friend and get to know them on another level. It’s an eye-opening experience. This is a photo of the beautiful sunrise we got to see ☺️

It’s difficult to set aside our fury or not feel hurt when someone is being rude towards us for no reason, but it helps analyzing as to why they act the way they do. There could be many reasons as to why they are ‘unwell’. It’s not an excuse, but these people are most likely battling something negative in their lives and are perhaps even at war with themselves. Help them realize there is a better way by staying calm and understanding, instead of returning the negative vibes. I’ve done this many times and it is amazing how fast they change their attitude towards you and even apologize afterwards. ⭐️
