One of my biggest learning experiences from pursuing my dream is that you find out who your real friends are. When you choose to leave a relatable box, you better be prepared to deal with the loss of comfort that comes with it. The toughest part is the learning experience of who you thought were your friends or had your back actually aren’t, and don’t have your back. It’s upsetting to say the least. But it’s all good. It opens up your eyes to who the real and genuine people in your life are. It gives you a much greater idea of who you should surround yourself with. You learn to have tough skin, and you learn how to handle criticism even if it isn’t constructive. I am so grateful for the people in my life that support me unconditionally, and those are the ones I’d do anything for. Don’t let the world change your smile, let your smile change the world.
