Uncategorized One of the more surreal moments of my life. In Chiang Mai, the tiger kingdom is the most legit place in Southeast Asia to interact with these big cats. Everyone always says ” they have to be drugged ” but the tigers are mobile and were even wrestling when we were in the enclosure about 10 ft away. They’re just nocturnal, so they’re pretty sleepy, we went close to active time. 530pm ( park closes at 6 ) You have to stay behind the trainers because they raise these tigers and the tigers respect them. They only raise them until 4, then they release them. So when you find one laying down calmly, you approach it from behind, and firmly place your hand on it’s back.
