This looks like just a nail but it’s more than just that to me now, it represents me giving into the life that God wants us to live. Today in church I kneeled, giving myself up to the Lord in from of everyone, letting go of humiliation and vulnerability. This nail I received at church today is a reminder to me. Today I learned that you should not hold resentment or hatred. Just love. That in order to obtain true happiness you must let go of all the negative stuff, like greed, defences, hatred, anger, lust and selfishness. In order to be happy you must stay positive and hold out love and go the extra mile for everything and everyone, no matter how small it seems because that’s how God wants us to live. Stay Posi!

@mikek26 remembered that it’s my birthday tomorrow and surprised me with a gift while I was bartending tonight. Mike is the kind of guy that refuses something as severe as his neuro-degenerate condition to pose as some sort of limit on his life. His optimism, gratitude and kindness are always front and centre and it’s always a pleasure serving him. I hope they find a cure, because people like him deserve to get a little help when they need it. Anyways, it made my night. The big 23 tomorrow! Stay Posi
