Today I walked for MS. Statistically, Manitobans are more prone to getting MS, and people who are in their 20’s-30’s are the majority effected by this terrible disease. Today I walked for Sara. She is my best friend Jacklyn’s sister in law and was diagnosed with MS last year at the early age of 26. It has been a tough year for Sara but she has made incredible progress and is doing better every day. Today, she walked the full 2.5 k with her walker, which is awesome because she was in a wheelchair a mere couple months ago. I am so proud of her and her great support team “May the 4th be with you” who have raised $5,250.00 for MS research and are the 8th team who have raised the most money for the walk. I’m happy to have contributed to the research, raising $80 for Sara and to have walked and crossed the finish line with her and her family. Today I walked for Sara, every step matters! :feet:❤️
