Uncategorized Staying Posi after 26 hours on buses in Colombia! Due to a.. Farmers strike in which roads are closed down due to farmer protests blocking the roads. Very confusing and tough travel situation when you are taking buses and nobody speaks English and all this is happening, 2 of our buses had to turn around cause of violent protesting making the roads too dangerous to drive past. Tyler and myself speak very little Spanish and it was a very frustrating and confusing day of travel, in it all we stayed optimistic and decided to make the best of our situation found one route where we could pass through the farmers strike make it to Bogota and hop on a flight to Ecuador as the strikes are expected to last weeks. It’s not the destination but the travel to get there! We actually enjoyed this experience and remained positive. Ciao Columbia it’s been amazing! #StayPosi @posi Posted on May 2, 2014 by Bryce Continue reading →
