I was shovelling the last of the snow in front of my house when a little girl riding her tricycle peddled by. She hopped off and opened the compartment in the back, out of it she pulled this twig. She walked up to me and in the tiniest little voice said something along the lines of “You’re working hard and it looks nice.” Then she handed me this stick, hopped back on and peddled away. I watched as she stopped by every person outside and shyly handed them sticks accompanied by a compliment. Safe to say my day was made! Stay positive friends!

Inspiration comes from the truest souls. I’d heard of chase Armitage before as a 3run athlete from the UK. He is a popular Freerunner and Traceur but I had recently seen much more to him then his tricking tutorials on YouTube. I watched a behind the scenes video of 3run’s trip to Cambodia and I was blown away by the boys in the video. So used to the confident and fast moving flips it was weird seeing Chase sit still. The way he talks about his travels, the way it has made him grow, not only in his training, but as a person in general is incredibly humbling. He is definitely some one to look up to as a parkour athlete and as a human being. Humble and full of heart. Got a new inspiration to look up to.
