Uncategorized Happy birthday to my best friend MADISON LASHEWICZ!!!!!!!!! This girl is amazing. She works super hard to keep good grades, a little money in her pocket, and to have some fun! Her birthday was interrupted three years ago when 2 of our friends were killed in a car accident. Her birthday never really has been the same since, but we always try to make the best of it! She is always super understanding and positive about the whole situation and tries to make the best of it. She deserves to have a great time and I’m glad we got to party on the weekend! Michelle and I can’t wait to travel with you and make some amazing memories! Love you babe! Xoxoxo Posted on April 21, 2014 by Robyn Continue reading →
Uncategorized I’ve heard before that being a server is one of the most “stressful” jobs out there. And I don’t argue with that at all. Some days can be slow and others, very busy. And it’s always unexpected. Last night at work, I took the payment for this one lady who quickly paid cash and told me to keep the leftover change. All had seemed normal, until over 10 minutes later the same woman came back in. She ran to me and put money in my hand. I was in shock when she told me that while driving away, she had realized she only tipped a small amount of change. And that it didn’t feel right. After saying thank you I made sure to tell her that it was unnecessary. I said that she didn’t need to tip me at all. And then there was silence. Until right before walking out the door she said to me “I didn’t want you to be insulted.” After that I gave it some thought and then came to this conclusion: Whenever I mention that “tips don’t matter” I get the strangest looks. Especially from my fellow employees. Though I do make awesome tips at my job, I try not to pay attention to it. I don’t believe that tips are deserved, but they are a blessing. No matter how annoying someone may be. I strive to give great service because that is my job, and all I want in return is a happy customer. Posted on April 21, 2014 by Juleanne Continue reading →

Uncategorized Cody Rempel & Jordan Polanski were two of the greatest guys you will ever meet. These two amazing guys were taken from us on April 21, 2011.. just a few months shy of grad. Three years later, not a day goes by that I don’t think of them. When I pass the site of the accident on my way to school I always give them a nod, say hi. I have a crystal keychain that Cody’s family made us with his baseball picture that hangs on my rear-view mirror that shimmers in the sun, it’s Cody “dancing” to the radio. I know that they are around us all the time. Whether it’s them sending us a signal through a song on the radio, or a wild animal sighting. The pain of losing them never has left, but it helped me and my friends be able to support others in the community who have more recently lost young people unexpectedly. In a sense, their deaths have helped us to help others cope. I will always treasure my memories of these beauties and all the laughs we shared goofing off in class, at volleyball, etc.. But one memory will always stand out in my mind and I just have to laugh. Cody and Jordan on the afternoon of their deaths were skipping our chemistry class. They walked passed the doorway, looked at me, put their fingers to their mouths in the “shush”, giggled, and waved bye to me. They were best of friends and I’m thankful that they have each other up there. Miss you boys so much and I’ll see you again one day. Love you. Posted on April 21, 2014 by Robyn Continue reading →
