Things in life are earned, not given. We can’t forget that. Two years ago, I was fortunate to be selected to go to the Philippines and represent Canada at an international wakeboard contest. The day I received that phone call, I was ecstatic. It was the first time I got to travel internationally and meet people from around the world that also shared the same passion. The trip was memorial and taught me three important lessons. 1) Do first and think later, 2) Take on every opportunity as they present themselves, they may never come again and most importantly, 3) Don’t stop chasing your dreams, one day you’re hard work will pay off :)
