This man. This legendary icon in my family has won so many battles in his life. Whether it was the Second World War, the economic struggles of farming and raising 5 kids, replacement knees and hips and several cases of the pneumonia. His toughest battle was the one of a broken heart, when he lost my grandma. He has won at life. At the age of 95 he has finally lost a battle and passed quietly in his sleep. Yet this is not a loss. This is him leaving a legacy for his loved ones. I look at my grandpa with pure love and admiration and I am truly happy he is reunited with his love. He may be gone, but legends never die
